Plato was one of the most important figures of the Ancient Greek world. he grew up from a wealthy Athenian family. he was very important because he laid out foundations of Western Cultures. he was educated as well. mainly in philosophy, poetry, and gymnastics. later on he taught students. Plato always would say to his students "there is no other road to happiness."
